Job Title: Multimedia Intern
Division/Department: Executive/Public Affairs
Organizational Summary:
This intern reports to the Project Manager, Media and Design.
Summary of Responsibilities:
Supports the Public Affairs Department in the planning and production of a series of short videos highlighting the authority's mission
Responsibilities:
- Conceptualize, produce and assist with the creation of promo videos and develop web galleries for social media (Instagram and Twitter).
- Edit and optimize video and image files for use on digital platforms, including pulling screengrabs, identifying and cutting clips, and encoding video.
- Assist in developing and implementing social media campaigns in support of MWRA's programming, events and initiatives.
- Manage digital archive and maintain an organized file-management system of images and video clips.
- Assists with other projects as needed.
Position Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in college or recently graduated from high school.
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop and Premiere.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Aptitude for storytelling through editing.
- Experience working with social media platforms.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, verbal and collaboration skills.
- Ability to follow directions and receive and implement feedback.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, attentive to details and technologically savvy.
- Ability to manage time, prioritize, juggle multiple projects, meet deadlines, and keep track of delivery and publication dates.

- Work Schedule: Monday - Friday Flexible 37.5 hours a week
- Internship Duration: May - August 2023
